“FRIENDS CUP – Moscow OPEN 2020” 21-23 August 2020 Moscow is an amateur tennis tournament of the Volga Region Grand Slam series. The tournament is over. The beginning of the series “Grand Slam of the Volga Region” was laid in 2019. The organizers of well-known amateur tournaments have decided to combine 7 competitions into a single series: “CHEBOKSARY OPEN”, Edgar Harutyunyan, Cheboksary (February 2020), “PENZA OPEN”, Vladimir Teplov, Penza (the tournament has been held since 2018 in March), “SAMARA OPEN” , Andrey Leikov, Samara (the tournament has been held since 2016 in April), RYAZAN OPEN, Gennady Mazurov, Ryazan (the tournament has been held since 2019, May), SARATOV OPEN, Alexander Kedyarov, Saratov (the tournament has been held since 2016 in June), “MORDOVIA OPEN”, Nikolay Kalinichenko, Saransk (the tournament has been held since 2004 in July), “MOSCOW OPEN – Friends’ Cup”, Alexey Polyushkin, Moscow (August 2020).
From Friday 21.08 to Sunday 23.08.2020 on 6 clay courts of the Tennis Center of SK Balashikha nominations were played in 5 categories and categories: men’s singles category 35+, men’s singles category 50+, men’s pair category 100+, mixed pair without age categories , mixed pair amateur + professional category ProAm. 48 amateur tennis players from Moscow, Saratov, Vozhsky, Samara, Saransk, Penza, Lipetsk, Ryazan took part in the Tournament. The organizers of the Tournament thank all the players for their participation and shown skill, and invite everyone to the next Tournament in Moscow in 2021.
